today dawned bright and beautiful and just after daybreak the girls and I took a little walk up our road and next door

to where I have Barbie Dream Boat on a mooring, looking lovely in the morning sunshine.

We had a little ride in the quiet of the morning, before the wind was even a ripple on the water. Heaven.

my little cottage from the water

I felt quite joyful out on the water this morning. I think it stems from confronting my fears and facing them down successfully. I lived in fear for most of the years I was with my husband. I guess maybe he did me a favor when he walked away. His loss. My gain. I win. Yay for me!
