Sue from Maine and Florence and I went up to Homestead to the Fruit and Spice Park for the annual Asian Festival and we had such a super fabulous day. It was amazing!

The Fusho Daiko drummers performed and they were fantastic. These women take drumming to a new level. We were so impressed with them.

The monks were there and we got a blessing to last all year. Once the holy water hit me in the face, I couldn't stop laughing but he took it all in stride.

The Iranian tent
And the food. Oh the food. OMG THE FOOD. Everything from Indian curries to quail eggs to sticky rice to pad thai to tikka marsala to basil chicken to Thai pancakes. We did our best to sample it all and it was wonderful.
And, a huge shout out to Jim who went over and let the dogs out because we made a whole day of it. Here is what was waiting for us when we got home. The girls.
Life is good, isn't it?
